Jarðfeingi is happy to welcome you to the fourth FIEC, which will be held in the Nordic House in Tórshavn on 1 and 2 May 2012. Again this year focus will be on the development and the challenges of hydrocarbon exploration in volcanic provinces.
Following the success of the three previous Faroe Islands Exploration Conferences held in 2004, 2006 and 2009, Jarðfeingi is pleased to announce that the fourth Faroe Islands Exploration Conference will take place during 1 and 2 May 2012 in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands.
The intention of the FIEC is to offer a scientific forum which focuses on hydrocarbon exploration on the Faroese Continental Shelf, and to strengthen the relationships between industry and research organisations working in the Faroese area. The conference is an obvious centre piece for anyone who has an interest in hydrocarbon exploration and research on the Faroese Continental Shelf and an excellent opportunity to meet up with other people working in the area.
